2023 Training Camp Roster

42 players will be arriving at the Amherst Stadium Monday morning to kick off the 2023 Training Camp, that number could increase as players are reassigned while QMJHL teams finalize their rosters.

Within this group are 14 players returning from last year’s team who will be joined by CJHL veterans Eric Mork and Aiden Dufault. Both from Manitoba, they bring a combined 219 games of Junior hockey experience to the Ramblers.

Several draft picks from recent years as well as free agents from coast to coast will be looking to show new Coach and GM Phil Fife that they are ready to make an impact this year.

This year’s camp roster will feature 7 players from Cumberland County. Matthew Hunter will look to return to the Ramblers blueline for his 4th season with the team. Keiran Sears, a 2022 draft pick, missed the majority of last season, however, he had a strong finish to the season when he returned. Defenceman Connor Hunter will be back in Amherst for camp after a year away at Champions Hockey Academy. A trio of Fundy Thunder players, Caleb Oulton, Sam Maddison, and Chaz Lockhart, will be looking to show their development after playing at the U16 level. A Cumberland County Blue will round out the group of players from the county. Burke Beed led the team in scoring and played with the Ramblers as an affiliate player last season.

Training Camp will be open to the public with all practices and intrasquad games being held at the Amherst Stadium and are free of charge.
