The Amherst Ramblers are celebrating a pair of standout performances from October, as forward Mark Corbett has been named the Maritime Hockey League Forward of the Month, while goaltender Lyam LeBlanc received an Honourable Mention for Goalie of the Month.

Corbett, a 20-year-old from Harbour Main, Newfoundland, led the league with 12 points (6 G, 6 A) in just seven games, averaging 1.71 points per game. His explosive month included back-to-back multi-point nights against West Kent and Yarmouth, highlighted by two game-winning goals. Whether setting up teammates or finishing plays himself, Corbett’s consistency and leadership helped power the Ramblers to key victories throughout October.

Between the pipes, LeBlanc provided steady, confident play that anchored Amherst’s defensive efforts. His poise and reliability earned him an Honourable Mention, further underscoring the strength of the Ramblers’ lineup on both ends of the ice.

With Corbett’s offensive firepower and LeBlanc’s goaltending prowess, the Ramblers continue to build momentum heading into November.
