Cormier Commits To Amherst

Amherst, NS – August 6, 2025 – The Amherst CIBC Wood Gundy Ramblers are thrilled to welcome back 2025 QMJHL Champion Cooper Cormier to the team!

Cormier, a 2005-born forward from Moncton, NB, began his junior hockey career with the Ramblers in 2023, where he totaled 27 points in 29 games. His strong performance caught the attention of the Moncton Wildcats, who signed Cormier during the 2023 holiday break.

Over the past season and a half, Cormier has been part of the Wildcats organization, where he and the team captured the Gilles-Courteau Trophy and reached the semi-finals of the Memorial Cup.
