Fabulous In Freddy

As the end of the regular season draws near each game starts to mean more and more. This evening a statement win for the Ramblers but the game wasn’t a walk in the park.
The game started just as the Ramblers planned with Anthony Gaudet opening the scoring halfway through the 1st, Fredericton would answer back with a pair of goals to take the lead to the intermission.
The second would start off with each team getting their chances but no goals were scored in the first half, Liam Dutcher would start the scoring in the second, scoring a coast to coast short handed goal to tie the game at 2. Just 50 seconds later the Redwings would restore there lead for the final time. Fredericton was looking to carry the lead to the third but Jaden Reyers would put an end to that thought tying the game with under a minute left. Sending the game to the third 3-3.
The scoring would be all Amherst in the third with Goran Stobo giving us the lead 3:36 into the final period. After the Stobo goal Lyam LeBlanc and the defence would stand their ground to keep the lead heading into the final minutes where Joachim Matulu and Mark Corbett would score on the empty net to give us a 6-3 final.
It’s no rest for the boys in purple as they are right back at it tomorrow at home taking on Pictou County.
