Gaudet Sets New Single-Season Assists Record
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Amherst, NS – The Amherst CIBC Wood Gundy Ramblers have a new name at the top of their record book. Forward Anthony Gaudet etched his name into franchise history by setting a new team record for most assists in a single season, surpassing the previous mark of 61.
Gaudet entered the final weekend of the regular season tied for the record with Ramblers alumni Andrew Sweetland and John Lake, but wasted little time claiming the record for himself. With his record-breaking helper, Gaudet now stands alone as the Ramblers’ single-season assists leader, a testament to his vision, playmaking ability, and consistency throughout the season.
The talented forward has been a driving force behind the Ramblers’ offence this year, serving as a key catalyst on both even strength and the power play. Known for his ability to create opportunities and find teammates in scoring positions, Gaudet’s accomplishment reflects not only his individual skill but also the strong chemistry within the Ramblers lineup.
The Amherst Ramblers organization congratulates Anthony on this outstanding achievement.
