Guay joins the Ramblers as goalie coach.

The Amherst CIBC Wood Gundy Ramblers are pleased to announce the addition of Louis Guay as the team’s goaltender coach for the upcoming season.

Guay joins the Ramblers coaching staff with an extensive resume and 30+ years of coaching experience, including 16 years with the U de M Aigles Bleus. He was also the goalie coach for the St: Francis Xavier X-Men and the Mount Allison Women’s teams. Louis also spent time in the MHL with the Woodstock Slammers and the Grand Falls Rapids.

Louis also has a close connection with our current coaching staff, he was the goalie coach in 2012 when, as a player, our Head Coach and GM Phil Fife and the Woodstock Slammers won both the MHL and Eastern Canadian championships.

Guay is looking forward to helping improve the team’s goaltending core. “My ultimate goal is to assist young goalies to reach their full potential on and off the ice.”
