Moroz Commits To University of Victoria
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Amherst Ramblers are proud to announce that defenceman Tyler Moroz has committed to continue his hockey career at the University of Victoria.
Moroz joined the Ramblers during the 2024-25 season after being acquired from the Kemptville 73’s and quickly became a steady presence on the Amherst blue line. The 6’3” defenceman from La Salle, Manitoba, brought size, physicality, and a reliable two-way game to the Ramblers lineup.
Over the course of this season, Moroz appeared in 50 games for Amherst, providing strong defensive play and leadership while helping the Ramblers remain one of the Maritime Hockey League’s top teams.
The University of Victoria Vikes hockey program competes in the British Columbia Intercollegiate Hockey League and has become a strong destination for former Junior A players pursuing post-secondary education while continuing to play competitive hockey.
The entire Ramblers organization congratulates Tyler and his family on this accomplishment and wishes him all the best with the Vikes.
