Signed last offseason from the QMJHL Charles-Antoine Lavallee has instantly become a fan favorite in town.
Lavallee had played two seasons in the QMJHL splitting time between the Gatineau Olympiques and the Baie-Comeau Drakkar where he scored 31 points. Before making the jump to the Q, Lavallee spent a year in the States playing high school hockey for Rice Memorial High School.
Lavallee was an offensive threat every time he was on the ice last season. His strong offence was noticed by the Cape Breton Eagles, as he was called up to the team to finish the season in the Q where he scored 24 points in the regular season and 6 in the playoffs.
