Ramblers Announce Two Trades with Capitals
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Amherst, NS – The Amherst Ramblers have completed two separate transactions with the Summerside Western Capitals.
In the first trade, the Ramblers have dealt forward Jake Prince to the Western Capitals in exchange for Player Development Fees. Prince was originally acquired by Amherst two seasons ago from the Yarmouth Mariners. He appeared in one game last season as an affiliate player (AP).
In a second move, the Ramblers traded the rights to forward Alex Guy to Summerside in exchange for a 2026 first-round draft pick and future considerations. Guy spent the past three seasons in the QMJHL, splitting time between the Cape Breton Eagles and the Val-d’Or Foreurs. He refused to report to Amherst after the Cape Breton Eagles named their final roster.
