Ramblers Complete Pair of Trades Ahead of 2026-27 Season

AMHERST, N.S. — The Amherst Ramblers have completed two previously announced trades, officially acquiring forward Coen Miller from the Summerside Western Capitals and sending forward Anthony Morin to the Miramichi Timberwolves.

Miller joins the Ramblers as the final piece of the trade that sent forward Alexandre Guy to Summerside, while Morin heads to Miramichi to complete the transaction that brought Jacob Kane and Ryan Hayes to Amherst.

A 2006-born forward from Bedford, Nova Scotia, Miller brings significant Maritime Hockey League experience and offensive production to the Ramblers lineup. Last season, he split time between the Summerside Western Capitals and Grand Falls Rapids, establishing himself as a dangerous scoring threat throughout the league. Miller earned MHL Team of the Week honours on multiple occasions during the 2025-26 season and was named the league’s Top Forward for September after recording 14 points in his first six games with Summerside.

Prior to his time in the MHL, Miller played in the QMJHL with the Saint John Sea Dogs and Sherbrooke Phoenix, adding valuable major junior experience to his resume.

The second completed trade sees Anthony Morin join the Miramichi Timberwolves, finalizing the deal that brought forwards Jacob Kane and Ryan Hayes to Amherst earlier this offseason.

The Amherst Ramblers would like to thank Anthony for his time and dedication to the organization and wish him the best as he continues his junior hockey career in Miramichi.

The Ramblers would also like to welcome Coen Miller and his family to Amherst and look forward to seeing him in a Ramblers uniform this season.
