Ramblers Name Richard Team Captain

AMHERST, N.S. — July 27th, 2026 — The Amherst Ramblers are proud to announce that Jeremie Richard has been named team captain for the 2026-27 Maritime Junior Hockey League season.

Richard, who has established himself as a respected leader within the Ramblers organization, will wear the “C” as Amherst prepares for the upcoming season.

Richard’s leadership, work ethic and commitment to his teammates made him a natural choice to take on the captaincy heading into the 2026-27 campaign.

As captain, Richard will help lead a Ramblers team that enters the 2026-27 season with high expectations. Amherst will open the regular season on the road against the Pictou County Weeks on September 10 before returning home for the home opener on September 12 against the Grand Falls Rapids.

The Ramblers’ 2026-27 campaign will feature a new group of players alongside returning veterans, with Richard serving as a key leader both on and off the ice.
