Ramblers Prospects Make Early Impact at 2026 U18 Atlantic Championship
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
QUISPAMSIS, NB — The Amherst Ramblers are proud to highlight a strong opening day from their prospects competing at the 2026 U18 Atlantic Championship, as several players made their presence felt right from puck drop.
Forward Brock Lyons found the back of the net for the Saint John Vitos, continuing his offensive momentum on the Atlantic stage. Lyons’ goal stood as a key contribution in a competitive matchup, showcasing his scoring ability against top-tier competition from across the region.
Meanwhile, Jack White played a pivotal role in the Fredericton Caps’ 3-1 victory on opening night. While White was held off the scoresheet, his impact was felt in other areas of the game. Known for his reliability and composure, White delivered a strong defensive performance, helping to shut down opposing chances and protect the Caps’ lead throughout the contest.
Round robin play continues later tonight with White and the Caps set to take on the Pinnacle Growlers. Lyons and the Vitos will face off against fellow Ramblers prospects Ian Lovett, Jax Ginnish, and Chandler Bell, who suit up for the Halifax Mac’s. It will be a busy second day for the Mac’s, as they are also scheduled to take on the Kensington Wild.
The Ramblers organization is excited to see its prospects competing at a high level and representing their teams with pride. With the tournament just underway, there will be plenty more opportunities for these young players to continue making an impression.
