Ramblers set to make 13 selections in MHL Entry Draft.
The Amherst CIBC Wood Gundy Ramblers coaches and scouts have been putting in the work in the lead-up to this year’s MHL entry draft.
The Ramblers hold 13 picks, including the second overall selection, the highest the team has had since 2011 when they held the third overall pick.
Along with the second pick, the Ramblers also hold the fifth pick in the draft, acquired from the Pictou County Crushers in the Ben Williams trade two seasons ago.
This will be the first draft for the team with new Head Coach and General Manager Phil Fife at the helm.
After not selecting any players in the territorial draft earlier this week the Ramblers will make selections at 2, 5, 14, 26, 38, 41, 50, 62, 74, 86, 91, 98, and 110.
The first two rounds of the draft will be live on Eastlink TV starting at 7 p.m. on channels 10 and 610 for Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. For New Brunswick, Eastlink will have the broadcast live on their YouTube channel.
