Rams add Manos in Trade With Wildcats
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Amherst, NS — The Amherst Ramblers are pleased to announce the acquisition of 2006-born defender Ben Manos from the Valley Wildcats in exchange for a 2027 5th-round draft pick. This move reflects the Ramblers’ ongoing commitment to strengthening their defensive group while continuing to build toward long-term success.
Manos, born July 25, 2006 in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, arrives in Amherst as a 6’0”, 185-pound left-shooting defenseman with strong developmental upside. At just 19 years old, he brings a blend of size, mobility, and on-ice awareness that has steadily elevated his game through the early stages of his junior career. Known for his calm presence under pressure, effective puck-movement, and steady positional play, Manos adds valuable depth and youthful energy to the Ramblers’ blue line.
The Amherst Ramblers are thrilled to welcome Ben Manos to the team and community, and look forward to seeing him in the purple and white.
