FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Amherst, NS — The Amherst CIBC Wood Gundy Ramblers are excited to announce the signing of 2005-born forward Bailey Shortall for the upcoming season.

A native of Timberlea, Nova Scotia, Shortall brings valuable Junior A experience to the Ramblers’ lineup. He spent last season in the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) with the Olds Grizzlys, where he served as an alternate captain in recognition of his leadership on and off the ice.

Shortall is no stranger to the Maritime Hockey League (MHL), having played for the West Kent Steamers during the 2022–23 season. In his rookie year, he recorded 23 points and finished among the top ten in team scoring.

Prior to his Junior A career, Shortall developed through the Halifax Mac’s program, where he played for three seasons. During his time there, he amassed over 100 points and helped lead the team to a Nova Scotia U18 Major Hockey League (NSU18MHL) Championship in 2022.
