Ramblers Post 2-1 Win
The Amherst Ramblers defeat The Truro Bearcats 2-1 tonight in front of 651 people.
Caleb Rich opened the scoring at 13:25 of the 1st period on the PP as he deposited a rebound off of a Cole Waugh shot into the back of the net.Matt Gordon tied the game up at 3:19 of the 2nd period off a scramble in front of the Ramblers goal with assists going to Spencer Blackwell and Lauchie MacDonald.
Robbie Burt put Amherst back out in front as he came down the right wing and faked a shot on Truro goalie Alec McDonald and scored on a wrap around with the assist going to Alex Wynter.
The 3rd period was a back and forth affair with both teams getting their chances. Amherst had to kill off a 5-3 mid way through the period.
