OT THRILLER

A packed Amherst Stadium was the scene for game four of the Eastlink South Divison finals, with 1,800+ in the stands as the Ramblers were looking to even the series 2-2.

The first period would go like all the others so far in this series with the Ramblers opening the scoring with Christian Reardon lifting the puck over the pad of Drew Sim. That would be the only goal of the period, Rams lead 1-0 after 20.

Early on in the second, Summerside would get the even 1:29 into the middle frame. The Ramblers would answer back with Drew MacIntyre and Mark Corbett potting goals to give Amherst a 3-1 lead. The Capitals would make it a one goal game with a goal late in the period. Ramblers have a 3-2 lead going to the third.

There would be only one goal in the third, with the Caps scoring 1:19 into the third to send the game to OT.

Late in the extra frame, Anthony Gaudet would lineup for a  faceoff to the right of the Summerside net he would win it back to Drew MacIntyre who would make the Ramblers fans blow the roof off the stadium and secure a 4-3 OT win and even the series 2-2.
