Ramblers Get Dube
The Amherst CIBC Wood Gundy Ramblers have traded their 2024 1st round pick to the Campbellton Tigers for forward Alexis Dube.
Dube, a native of Saint Quentin, NB spent the past three years in the QMJHL with the Acadie-Bathurst Titan and the Chicoutimi Saguenéen.
Ramblers general manager Jeff Leblanc says he’s excited to see Dube leadership on the team this season.
“Great to get an impact player like Alexis added to our team without having to take anyone off. He’s a big body that plays physical and should be a leader for us in the room and off the ice. He’s going to be put in roles where he probably didn’t get the chance to play in at the major Junior level. Looking forward to seeing what he can do given those opportunities.”
Dube signed to play with the Ramblers today and will be at training camp when it opens on August 29th.
