Lovett Joins Amherst in trade with rapids

AMHERST, NS – The Amherst Ramblers have announced a trade with the Grand Falls Rapids that brings former 12th overall pick forward Ian Lovett and a 2026 8th-round draft pick to Amherst in exchange for the Ramblers’ 3rd and 6th-round picks in the 2026 draft.

Lovett, a skilled and tenacious forward known for his two-way play and high compete level, joins the Ramblers following an impressive season with Rothesay Netherwood School.

In addition to acquiring Lovett, the Ramblers also receive an 8th round pick in the 2026 draft, further bolstering their long-term assets.
