Strang commits to Carleton Ravens

The Amherst CIBC Wood Gundy Ramblers are pleased to announce that Coen Strang has committed to play hockey next season with the Carleton Ravens.

Strang’s path to the Ramblers began as a sixth-round selection in the 2020 MHL Draft. His early hockey experiences with the Moncton Flyers U18 AAA team laid the foundation for a promising junior career.

In his first full season with Amherst, Strang quickly became a cornerstone of the team’s defense. His performance earned him a spot on the MHL South Division All-Star Team, where he ranked fourth among defensemen with 46 points, including 10 goals and 36 assists. Notably, he led all MHL defensemen with 17 powerplay assists and contributed three game-winning goals

Strang’s leadership qualities were further recognized when he was named team captain for the 2023–24 season. His dedication and influence were instrumental in guiding the Ramblers through two competitive seasons.
