Prospect Report From Atlantics 04/05/24

Four games were on the schedule for day two of the U18 AAA Atlantic championship, and just like yesterday all our prospects were in action.

In the early game, it was Liam Daigle, Jacob Pineau and the Moncton Flyers playing the Halifax Macs. The Macs would pick up a shutout win 4-0.

The second game saw four of our prospects faceoff with the Pinnacle Growlers and Dartmouth Steele Subaru doing battle. Nolan Blonad would shine for Pinnacle scoring both of the Growler’s goals in a 4-2 defeat to Elliot Kavanaugh, Jake Prince and Dartmouth.

Daigle, Pineau and the Flyers were back for their second game of the day as they faced off with the Kensington Wild. Liam Daigle would convert on a powerplay for the Flyers, however, Moncton would fall to the Wild 6-2.

Kavanaugh and Prince were our focus for the battle of Nova Scotia as they took on Halifax in a defensive battle which saw the Macs come away with a 1-0 win.

After day two in Lantz,  Liam Daigle, Noah Boland and Jake Price are our leading prospects in points. Boland, Daigle with two goals and Prince with one goal and one assist. Andy Knight has recorded a goal in the championship, while Jacob Pineau and Elliot Kavanaugh have been held off the score sheet.
