RAMBLERS ANNOUNCE NEW DATE FOR THE START OF TRAINING CAMP

The Amherst CIBC Wood Gundy Ramblers announce today training camp will be pushed back to coincide with the new MHL start date that was announced today.
Today, the MHL announced it will push back the start of the 2020-21 season from October, 2nd to October, 30th. Amherst will look to have a mini training camp with reduced numbers on September 24th, 25th, 26th and 27th. More training camp info will be available in the coming weeks.
General Manager Jeff Leblanc says it’s a frustrating time for everyone but wants to turn this into a positive for the team.
“We are looking at this setback as an opportunity to be more prepared for October 30th when the puck drops. Not much is changing for us. We will push training camp back by a few weeks and pick up another two weeks of preparation that we normally wouldn’t get in any other year. Two players are quarantining now. We are ready to get it going.”
