Rushton Joins The Ramblers Bench

The Amherst CIBC Wood Gundy Ramblers are pleased to announce the addition of Amherst native Mallory Rushton to the coaching staff for the remainder of the 2020-21 season.
Rushton joins the Ramblers after finishing her season in the NWHL with the Metropolitan Riveters.
Rushton will step in for Ramblers assistant coach Matthew Martin who, due to restriction at the Nova Scotia/New Brunswick border and other commitments, will be unable to join the team for the rest of the season.
Rushton says she is looking forward to the experience of joining the team for the playoff run, “It was it a bit of a surprise, Coach Doull reached out to me and gave me this opportunity, it’s a new experience for me, and it’s been good so far.”
Rushton was on the bench for last night’s 6-3 win over the Pictou County Crushers.
Before playing in the NWHL with the Riveters, Rushton played four seasons of college hockey with the Rochester Tigers where she captained the team in her junior season.
