Ramblers add young depth for the 2020 MHL season

The Amherst Ramblers made two trades Monday. In the first trade, Amherst sent a 2nd round pick in 2022 and futures to Miramichi for forward Brock Forsythe.
Ramblers General Manager Jeff Leblanc says he has been keeping an eye on Forsythe and likes what he has seen.
“Brock has been a player we’ve watched for the last two seasons in Moncton. He’s a hard worker with a good skill set. He’s also enrolled at Mt.A full time so we are a natural fit.”
Forsythe was captain last season with the Midget Major Flyers. He won two provincial championships while playing there as well.
In the second trade of the day, Amherst sent futures to Miramichi for defencemen Alex Gallant.
Gallant played for Mathieu Martin High School last year and spent two seasons with the Moncton Flyers before that.
“Alex was a second-team all-star in the NBPEIMMHL when he was only 16. He’s got skills and good hockey sense.” Said LeBlanc.
