Another Great Result On The Road

It’s another divisional victory for the Amherst Ramblers, and the path to the postseason is becoming clearer.

Both team’s defence and goalies were the talk of the rink with big saves at both ends of the ice, Jack Howatt turned aside 17 shots in the 1st alone, to send the game to the intermission 0-0.

Crushers would strike first in the second, but the Rams would keep pushing and finally solved the Crushers’ tendy, with Jaden Reyers feeding Jonah Jelley to send the game to the third at 1-1.

The third would go in the favour of the Rams with Drew MacIntyre breaking down the wing on a 3 on 1 and he made no mistake popping the puck over the Pictou County keeper and sending the Rams to their first lead. Just like last game the guys wouldn’t look back after taking the lead, hunkering down on defence and killed off multiple penalties to pick up their 26th win on the season.

It’s a well-deserved day off tomorrow before the road trip continues as the guys cross the bridge to Summerside to square off with the Caps.

Tonight’s three-stars

1st Star: Jack Howatt (43 svs)

2nd Star: Logan Roop  (Pictou County)
