Storm To A Comeback Over The Blizzard

The Ramblers made it four wins in a row this evening at home against the 8th-ranked team in the nation, the Edmundston Blizzard.

It was another tough opponent for the Ramblers to face off with at home that would become apparent early in this one with both team’s goalies standing tall turning away some great chances through the first 20 minutes.

In the second period would be when both teams’ offences would break through with Edmundston scoring 2 minutes into the period, Amherst would answer back with Christian Reardon slotting home his 14th of the season to time the game at one. Edmundston wouldn’t go away easy they would retake the lead heading to the third.

In the third Jack Howatt and the Ramblers would put on a show. Jonah Jelley would draw the game even halfway through the third and Christian Reardon would send us to the lead with 7 minutes to go in this one. Jack Howatt would turn aside all the shots he faced in the third to cap off a 58-save performance in front of the Ramblers faithful, sending them home happy with the Rams picking up a 3-2 win!

The Ramblers are scheduled to be in action tomorrow to take on the Bearcats, keep an eye on our social media for updates on the status of the game.  (Update: game has been postponed till Tuesday.)
