Ramblers Unveil 2026-27 Regular Season Schedule
AMHERST, N.S. – Hockey is officially on the horizon as the Amherst Ramblers have announced their schedule for the 2026-27 Maritime Hockey League season.
The Ramblers will open the new campaign on the road on Thursday, September 10, when they travel to New Glasgow to face the Pictou County Weeks Crushers.
Fans won’t have to wait long for hockey to return to the Amherst Stadium, as the Ramblers’ home opener is set for Saturday, September 12, when they welcome the Grand Falls Rapids for the first home game of the season.
The 2026-27 season marks the 60th anniversary of the Maritime Hockey League, with all 12 clubs playing a balanced 52-game regular season schedule. Teams will face divisional opponents eight times and clubs from the opposite division twice as they compete for a spot in the MetalFab MHL Cup Playoffs.
Throughout the season, fans can look forward to exciting divisional rivalries, highlighted by the league’s special rivalry weekend at the end of January. The Ramblers will also host their annual New Year’s Eve game on December 31 against the Summerside Western Capitals, one of the organization’s marquee events of the season.
